Agnes McLaren Exhibition

March 9-27, 2020
In the atrium of the Campus

Présentation

As part of the celebrations of its 8th centenary, the Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier opens a wide angle on the situation of women, and more precisely on that of medical students through an exhibition dedicated to Agnes McLaren.

Born in 1837 in Scotland, Agnes McLaren was involved throughout her life in the fight for women's rights. The exhibition immerses us in the lives of women during the second half of the 19th century and their precarious situation, particularly in terms of care.
